Fairbanks Aegis™ Floor Scales
Fairbanks' Aegis Basic Series and Aegis Profile Series Floor Scales are dependable,
low profile floor scales featuring the latest
advancements in weighing technology. Ideal for any weighing application, these scales also
feature models equipped with the high resolution, diagnostic capabilities of Fairbanks'
exclusive lntalogix Technology. With a full range of accessories, this line of mild and
stainless steel floor scales can be configured to fit virtually any floor scale
application.
RUGGED, LOW PROFILE DESIGN
With a platform height of only three inches, these
floor scales allow the easy access and maneuvering of all types of load handling equipment
onto the scale, from drum movers to pallet jacks. Each of these floor scales also features
a rugged structural rib design with a ¼-inch thick steel diamond plate deck and can
withstand overloads up to 150% of their capacities. Bumper guards are also available for
maximum side load protection.

The Aegis Series consists of six different models: the Aegis
Basic, the Aegis Basic Intalogix, the Aegis Profile Mild Steel, the Aegis Profile
Stainless Steel, the Aegis Profile Intalogix Mild Steel and the Aegis Profile Intalogix
Stainless Steel. With this wide variety of models to choose from, you are assured of
getting the right scale for your application.
A FULL RANGE OF ACCESSORIES
With a complete line of
ramps, pit frames, bumper guards and bolt down plates available, you can design a
Fairbanks floor scale set-up to meet the specific needs of each individual application.
And since the accessories are interchangeable between all the Aegis floor scale models, it
has never been easier to choose the right accessory.
QUICK DISCONNECT AND FACTORY CALIBRATION
Only the Aegis Basic Series and the Aegis Profile Series offer
the "quick disconnect" and factory calibration options which means these scales
are ready to weigh once you receive them. The platform and the indicator are set
up and calibrated at the factory then disconnected
and shipped. When they arrive, simply plug both ends of the quick disconnect accessory
together, power up and you're ready to go. In some instances, final calibration may be
necessary after shipping.
THE INTALOGIX ADVANTAGE
Both the Aegis Basic
Intalogix and the Aegis Profile Intalogix platforms are equipped with a standard factory
installed Quad Multiplexer Board (QMB), so you are able to achieve higher resolution,
greater accuracy and enhanced diagnostic capabilities through Fairbanks' exclusive
Intalogix Technology. Through a unique process of digital multiplexing of individual load
cell signals, the Aegis Intalogix platforms allow you to reach a whole new range of
accuracy and reliability using standard analog load cell technology.
IMPROVED ACCUQUEST™
FOOT
Fairbanks' new AccuQuest foot features an improved design that
is height adjustable from below the platform. Standard on the Aegis Profile and Aegis
Profile lntalogix platforms, the redesigned foot attaches to an NTEP approved, stainless
steel load cell. To adjust the height of the floor scale, all you have to do is turn the
foot. It's that simple.
UNIQUE LOAD CELL DESIGN
Instead of the typical
threaded hole into which the load cell foot is attached, the innovative Neutral Axis
Loading (NAL) technology load cell has a hollow area machined on its underside. The new
AccuQuest foot is secured in this hollow area by a hardened steel nut and bolt, but is
still able to compensate for uneven floors. This system which is only available on the
Aegis Proflie ensures load forces are always applied to the load cell at precisely the
same point regardless of where the load is placed on the scale. This means you achieve
accurate, repeatable weighrnents every time.
EASY TO SERVICE
All Fairbanks floor scale models feature a top access plate for
quick and easy access to the junction box or QMB. The top access plate makes installation,
calibration and general maintenance easier and less time consuming.
